Between Us

Mr. Okello is a young, enthusiastic teacher known for his interactive, disciplined, and effective teaching style. Above all, he is a kind and caring individual. When he first entered the classroom, neither he nor his student, Shiku, expected that they would develop feelings for each other. Noticing Shiku’s academic struggles, Okello eagerly offers his help. As they interact daily, they begin to open up about their emotions, goals, and dreams, finding comfort in sharing with one another. At the same time, the school principal, Mr. Mwaniki, faces serious allegations that threaten his career. To deflect attention, he manipulates the situation, using the relationship between Mr. Okello and Shiku as a diversion—and his plan works.
